27' Dive-Fishing Boat-Commercial (La Paz) $16000
27' Center Council Dive-Fish Boat. Manufacturer is BECK. Most of these hulls are working in Hawaii as dive/fish boats.
Equipped with Volvo Penta AQAD41 200hp diesel engine & 290 duo prop
duo prop is in need of reconditioning and engine needs batteries. Comes with heavy dual axle GALVANIZED trailer (just installed all new bearings and seals on Sept.01),
Small toilet under center council; 20 gallons fresh water & pump; bait pump/tank; nice stainless bimini top; teak swim step and heavy duty aluminum ladder. Side seating with aluminum tank holders on each side.
This is a really nice dive and fish boat for personal or commercial use. You can either keep the Vovlo setup or pull it and put Outboards or a straight shaft on it. Outdrives are not so great here in Mexico as there is virtually nobody that can repair them. I've had to take this outdrive back to San Diego on two other occasions --- i would have it rebuilt every two years. So, hence the cheap sell price.
YOu won't find a boat like this for this price. In fact most 26' equipped panga hulls will run you about $17k before you get to a motor and trailer and this is SO much more than a panga and can handle big seas unlike a panga. I would also consider selling the hull only as i have another smaller boat (a skipjack) i could put this motor/outdrive package in. I'd consider selling the hull only for $7500 (without the trailer) or add $2,000 more for the trailer. I've had the boat in storage for a while and cleaning it up this week to sell it.
